In this artwork, Joshua shares a deeply personal narrative set during a period of grief following the sudden loss of his father. Overcome by the chaos of this event, Joshua found himself lost, eventually hitting rock bottom. It was only upon returning to his hometown of Mobile, Alabama, where he was embraced by the love and support of his family, that he began the process of healing. Surrounded by this unwavering support, he regained his strength and continued his journey, ultimately leading him to New York City.
